So i’m gonna get a guitar hero game and with a guitar for xbox 360.
Which guitar hero game should i get and why?
Or should i just wait for the "Smash Hits" coming in june?

For a first time strummer, what, other than the track list, are the differences between Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2?

I was lookin on the Guitar Hero website and they were showing a trailer for a Guitar Hero Smash Hits that has some of the best songs from all the past guitar heros before world tour coming out on June 4th for all 3 insturments what songs do u hope will end up on there from Guitar Hero 1 through im guessing Areosmith or Rock the 80s according to the trailer

yeah um i might be getting guitar hero smash hits for my birthday and um i want to know if on a solo if you can Hit all the notes in a solo without AND I REPEAT!!!!! NOT STRUMMING AT ALL WHATSOEVERMAN/BREW

so can you hit all the notes in a solo without struming

If I picked up a used guitar that's wireless for rockband or guitar hero, what
else do I need to hook it up? Is a dongle needed?

Does anyone really like the GHmix setup? it seems cool at first till you actually go to it then it's just lame.

ok in the next upcoming months there are a few guitar hero games coming out. i dont care about the ones like van van halen and hendrix but im trying to decide between guitar hero smash hits and guitar hero 5. can somebody please tell me the pros and cons of each???? oh and can u tell me the songlist for each (optional but please do)

Should I get Guitar Hero: Smash Hits or Guitar Hero: Metallica on PS3? Also, does the guitar for each work on the other too in case I get the other in 2 months? FYI I don't listen to Metallica but I do like Heavy Metal and Rock mainly.

I have Rock Band 2, but looking to buy the new Metallica Guitar Hero. Just hoping that I don’t have to buy all of the instruments. I heard the drums were not compatible but the guitars were. Does anyone know for sure?

I never bought a Guitar Hero game before. In fact I bought the first Rock Band and loved it. Before you guys jump on me about playing real instruments, I'm a vocalist and guitarist and was part of a band until tensions flared.

I vouched I wouldn't buy a Guitar Hero game until it provided all the instruments and I was so psyched and pre-ordered Guitar Hero 4: World Tour. I thought the cheat for all the songs was an added bonus, but it was just to make up for disappointment. Only a couple of the songs are worth playing, and otherwise they're tiring and boring. It sort of even killed the vibe of Rock Band for me.

I would play the old Guitar Hero games on display in game stores and some of the older games were amazing. This has a bunch of tracks from the older games that were a lot of fun. However, in lieu of the really crappy excuse for a game that was GH4, I wanted to know if this game is any good.

P.S. If you're a hardcore fan saying they're outplayed, I can't relate to you so please don't explain that logic.

P.P.S. There are only a few reviews and they're looking optimistically bad, like GH4's (it got an 8, and only the people accepting the bribes know why).
Guitar Hero 4 had that sh*tty online play where it only worked one instrument at a time. How's the online play for Smash Hits?
As in can you play with a full band online with members joining like in Rock Band? I know the atmospheres/backgrounds are nice too in this game. What about using the drum pads to navigate instead of the control pad, and failing out (can you save others now?).

are all the songs already available or do you have to unlock them????

I’ve played Guitar Hero since the second one came out and I can play most songs on expert. I want to get Guitar Hero on Tour for my birthday, but how hard is it to get used to for a person who ROCKS it (lol) on the PS2? Is it hard? Any input would be awesome.

I just purchased a Guitar Hero World Tour for my Wii gaming system. I would like to know how to add music to the game.

I purchased Guitar Hero's Aerosmith addition but it does not allow for the drums or mic.
