Can I use my Guitar Hero III guitars for Guitar Hero world tour?

Author: I have Guitar Hero III on Wii and was wanting to buy Guitar Hero World tour but i don’t really want the drums or the mic so i wanted to buy just the game. Can I use the guitars for the 3rd one for the new one also? Has anyone played Guitar Hero World Tour yet? If so, how was it? Thanks!

You will have no problem playing Guitar Hero World Tour with your GH3 controller. However, the GH3 controller does not include the tapping, which comes on the World Tour guitar. The star power doesn’t work when I tilt mine either, I have to press the (-) button. I’ve played it and it is a lot of fun. The songs seem to be more difficult. Have fun!
