Guitar Hero World Tour

I’ve been having a lot of trouble deciding on getting Guitar Hero 5 because the song list SUCKS, there’s no metal at all. But I saw how song editor worked before on TV and i heard only once that you could import songs and add notes to it like in custom songs on the pc version of guitar heros. I have an Xbox 360 and just wanted to know if you can upload songs into the game. If so, how does it work? Is it easy?
