can you use the guitar from world tour for guitar hero encore?

Author: I have a ps3 and guitar hero world tour, I just got guitar hero 80s encore for ps2. When i turn on the game the guitars for world tour are not reconised for encore, can you use the guitar for world tour ps3 for 80s encore ps2?
is there any way to get this game to work with the guitar hero world tour guitar or can i buy a adaptor or new guitar?
regarding the theberze… answer, i do have a ps3 guitar but the problem is it dont work with the ps2 game, i am looking for a way to resolve this

No. PS3 guitars aren’t compatible with the PS2 games.
Yes, you can buy adapters to connect PS2 controllers into a PS3, but they usually don’t work to well. Your best bet is to get a guitar for PS3.
