Can you use two guitar controllers of the same brand on Guitar Hero?

Author: We just got Guitar Hero III for the PS2, it came with a Activision Kramer guitar. I was looking into getting the RedOctane guitar from Activision. Would they still work seperate from each other and the signals not get crossed.
I do also have a React Reaper which works fine.
