DJ Hero turntable not working after a few months. is it from spinning really fast?

Author: my dj hero turntable thinks i push the buttons when i scratch. sometimes i just spin the turntable really fast. it just started doing this after a few months a working. could this be from spinning it fast? I read online of this happening right away from something else not spinning fast but not after a few months of working. please answer. if it is from spinning fast I will buy dj hero 2 with turntable and not spin it really fast.
would a new turntable help???

I think not. It may be just a connection error between the turndisk and the crossfader base.
