Guitar hero?

Author: on guitar hero on some notes they seem to be glowing kinda. just brighter. what does it mean? its kinda hard to tell the difference, but if you know what i’m talking about could you help. i think it’s only on guitar hero 2 cuz i haven’t noticed any on guitar hero 1. i don’t think there’s any signifigance to it, but its gotta be there for something. even if you don’t know why they’re there, could you at least tell me if you’ve noticed. thanx.

it’s a hammer on note. it’s a note that comes right after another not, but you don’t have to strum. you can just hit it with your finger. there are 2 types. a hammer on, and a pull of. a pull off is on a lower note. like if you have to strum on red….and the green note right after it is glowing…..you don’t have to strum on the lower note. you pull your finger off of the red and on to the green. and the hammer on, is for higher notes. it explains all of it on the tutorial. it helps if you actually play guitar in real life.
they had the same thing on the first guitar hero, but the color scheme on that was pretty awful…..you could barely see it.
