Guitar Hero 5 Wii Questions.?

Author: Do the Rock Band 1 Instruments work with Guitar Hero 5 Wii?
Also, on the special offers on the music store, it has Band Hero, World Tour and Smash Hits.
Are these just the importing if you already have them option or can you buy these and then have the songs imported into guitar hero 5, regardless of whether you own them or not?
