How do I connect the guitar hero drums for Xbox 360?

Author: I just bought the guitar hero drums for Xbox 360 but I bought it used so it did not have instructions for set up. I have set up the entire kit, connected the cymbals and the kick pedal as well as installed the batteries. How do I now sync up the drums to the console? I tried holding down the green Xbox button for a few seconds that didn’t seem to get it to work? Please help thanks!

On the drums there is a tiny button that is not the X hold this and the X light will flash go to the console and press the white button near the power circle do this when the 360 is on. Here is a guide.
