Guitar Hero World Tour

so i made my account on the guitar hero website and found alist of all the tournys that are going on but when i join one i never know what to do next. theres no list of songs i have to play or anything. what do i do can someone please explain this to mein full detail?
Could i please get an answer from ONLY someone who plays it online and knows the correct answer, thanks.
