How does guitar hero world tour singing work?

Author: Im trying to decide between rock band and guitar hero and i'd like to know EXACTLY how the singing works before i make my choice and also which do you like better rock band or guitar hero?

i like rock band better
The singing works by picking up your tone like when its a high note you need to sing high… you dont need to even say the words. you can just humm through it as long at its the right pitch
