In Guitar Hero World Tour, Smash Hits, etc. how do I play long notes that are like the bars on a cell phone…?

Author: …, but upside down? I don’t own GHWT but I’ve played it at a friend’s house before. That may be why I goofed on a few songs:-(

If you hold down a note, you can play other notes at the same time if they appear during the held note, so if another held note appears, you can play that and hold down that note too. It’s something they added since 3
