Playstation2 game not working for Playstation2?

Author: Well I got a new game Today and I started playing it first on Playstation 3 because my Playstation 2 wasn’t hooked up. So then when I finished hooking up the Playstation 2 I try it and it said "The disc could not be read" I know what that means but seriously its brand new so its only working on Playstation 3. By the way the game is Guitar Hero:Smash Hits. So I need help please.

same this that happend to me exept diff. game and the game played to a sertan part of the game and it froze so it might the stores fault :-/
