what does using the whammy key and star power do for ur score in guitar hero 3?

Author: I just got a wii and I just found out how to use the whammy key and what star power is on my guitar hero 3. I want to know what it will do for my score, or if it does/doesn’t do anything for it at all. I would really like a sensible answer b/c I really need 2 know. Thanks in advance!

The whammy bar adds points for any extended notes (where you are holding down the key.) It does nothing to whammy on single notes other than annoy your friends. Star power, when activated, causes your score multiplier to double. Multipliers are scored when you hit enough notes in a row without a mistake. Next time play the tutorial or read your instruction book.
