What is better for xbox 360 Rockband 2 or Guitar Hero Metallica?

Author: I want to buy one of these, but which one is better and why? Also, is there any next gen Rockband, or Guitar Hero coming up, because I don’t want to but this game, an then get stuck with the old one.

Rock band 2 in my opinion is the better deal
guitar hero metallica is good if you love metal and the double pedal
the great thing though is that the instruments are interchangeable so if you buy the box for one of them (either guitar hero or rock band) all you have to do is buy the game by itself for the other one
so you can have your cake and eat it too
no next gen console or game will be coming out for a while
but Rock band Beatles will be coming out later this year
