What is the compatibility with Guitar Hero and Rock Band peripherals on PS3?

Author: I have a PS3 and the first Rock Band, are there any Guitar Hero guitars that I could buy to play with Rock Band?
How about Rock Band 2?
Will the first Rock Band drums work with the Guitar Hero World Tour disc?

Yes, if I’m not mistaken, you should be able to use Guitar Hero guitars on Rock Band, and vice-versa.

Yes, same as above.
