Author: I know the guitar from guitar hero can be used to play guitar, but can I use it to play standard Xbox 360 games?

Actually, you can plug it into your computer (if you have a wired guitar) and use it to play a guitar hero simulator such as "frets on fire".
It can be used as a controller on any other game but it may make playing that game a lot more difficult.
