What’s up with the Guitar Hero 3 gibson wireless controllers?

Author: I recently bought guitar hero 3 for the xbox 360 and it came with the gibson wireless guitar. Whenever i get star power or anything it will automatically activate the star power. Ive tried just about everything from re-syncing the controller to changing the batteries thinking it would make a difference. Whats wrong with the controller? because the same thing is happening with my friends.

That also happens to me, and it is really annoying, but getting a new controller won’t help. I think gh3 has a new feature where if your performance is real good and you’re sucking the power out of every long note and power chord, it will activate star power automatically.
if you hold the guitar a certain way, or if there is a bad connection, then it won’t work as well, it happened once with my PS2, it could be that you and your friend’s guitars have a messed up tilt sensor, if the battle power also screws up, then it is the tilt sensor, get a new guitar, if that new one is bad, then it could be an internal problem with the 360. if that is the case , then there is nothing left to do.
