why wont my ps2 load double layer discs?

Author: my ps2 wont load any of the new guitar hero games i know that its because their double layer discs and all the new guitar heros are really high graphic so far ive tryed GH4 world tour smash hits and metallica it wont load eney other double layer games either i know their double layer cause i put them in my computer and looked and saw how gbs they wher because if their over 4.37gbs then it has to take a double layer disc i know all this because i kind of steal games off the interweb but these ones i bought from gamestop!!
what should i do?

maybe your ps2 doesn’t have a drive capable of reading double layer discs – if it’s an older console then it might have been built before d/l drives were available – I had a laptop 3 1/2 years ago that read only single layer discs because the drive wasn’t compatible
then again , maybe there’s coding on the disc so they don’t play on a chipped system
