Will rock band 1 guitar controller work with the new guitar hero?

Author: I want to get guitar hero world tour. Problem is it cost too much for me on Ps3. The drums are an absolute Duh!! it won’t work, the microphone has to work, the guitar is questionalbe though. It has the same design 10 buttons. Or can i just use a regular guitar hero contoller. and buy a seperate drum set.

None of the Rock band stuff will work with any of the Guitar Hero stuff, but the Guitar Hero peripherals will work with Rock Band and the other Guitar Hero games. I suggest buying the Guitar hero instruments if you only want to buy one set.
